Snacks Around Town

On Monday evening, the boys and I went to Washington Square Park, our old stomping ground…

When we arrived, Toby took a moment to show off some new scooter tricks. Extra speed! A leg to the side!! One handed!!!

Meanwhile, Anton was transfixed by a saxophone player. (Side note: That diaper booty.)

We then went over to the fountain for some snacks.

As Ive mentioned before, our go-to snacks are from NatureBox, the snack subscription service. They send you five bags of delicious, high-quality snacks every month. You can choose the exact snacks you want (they have more than 100 different kinds) or let them surprise you. Think: White Truffle Popcorn, Old Fashioned Blister Peanuts, Asiago and Cheddar Cheese Crisps, Whole Wheat Strawberry Figgy Bars, Blueberry Almonds… the choices are great.

To kick off the summer, Toby went in the water, a NYC-kid tradition. It was freezing, but he and a few other brave kids loved it. (And apparently the water is perfectly clean.)

After he dried off, more snacks were requested, as always. Our current NatureBox favorite is Strawberry Greek Yogurt Pretzels so good!

It was a lovely evening.

Today, NatureBox is giving one lucky reader a 12-month subscription. Thats an entire YEAR of snacks. To enter, check out their snack catalog and leave a comment below telling us your favorite snack. Theyre all really delicious. A winner will be chosen tomorrow at random. Good luck! (Update: The winner has been e-mailed. Thanks for playing!)

Bonus for all readers: If youd like to try a free sampler box, click here.
